The official trailer of the period drama Buccaneers has arrived, and it is giving 2003. What does a girl want? Too bad Colin Firth, set in the 1870s, isn’t here.

Based on Edith Wharton’s unfinished novel, the eight-episode series follows a group of American girls who travel to London for the season to secure both their husbands and the title. Labeled “new money” by the locals, the women face a culture clash as their independent ways clash with English tradition.

The ensemble cast of the series includes Christine Frosseth, Alyssa Boe, Josie Totah, Aubrey Ebrough, and Imogen Waterhouse, as well as Christina Hendricks, Mia Throttleton, Josh Dillon, Guy Reimers, Matthew Broome, and Barney Fishwick.

Buccaneers Comes to Apple TV+ on November 8.
