Netflix trailer Scott Pilgrim taking off. Dropped this weekend and the show looks like a highly stylized good time.
The anime series has been highly anticipated ever since it was announced that the cast of the live-action film would be reprising their roles for the animated version. It means (deep breath) returns from an all-star cast of Michael Cera, Chris Evans, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jason Schwartzman, Aubrey Plaza, Mae Whitman, Karen Culkin, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, and more.
The trailer left a lot to the imagination but we did get a first glimpse of the evil axes and some arcade-style graphics that accompany the fight scenes.
It looks like the series will be a hit with fans of the cult classic. The show ends on November 17.
